  • The challenge is open to all students, staff, alumni, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

    Participants need to form teams of 2-4 persons, at least ONE person must be an NTU student (undergraduate or graduate).

    We encourage participants from all backgrounds as we believe that diversity helps to influence interesting innovations.

    Teams are to Submit:

    • A Video of the Mobile Application which they have developed(maximum duration: 2 minutes). This video should show a use case and highlight the unique features of the App
    • Their Project Presentation (maximum of 8 slides)

    Each team will have 10 15 minutes with the judges:

    • Team’s Presentation & Demo (5 10 minutes)
    • Judges Q&A (5 minutes)

    Teams are to Submit:

    • An updated Video of the Mobile Application which they have developed (maximum duration: 2 minutes)
    • Their updated Project Presentation (maximum of 12 slides)

    Each team will have 20 minutes with the judges:

    • Team’s Presentation & Demo (10 minutes)
    • Judges Q&A (10 minutes)

    The evaluation criteria and weightage for the judges’ scoring is as follows:

    • 30%: Project Concept – This relates to the overall project concepts (aim, need, target market, etc) as discussed during the Idea Creation Workshop (on 29 Sep 2014).

    • 30%: Innovation – This relates to how innovative the solution is with respect to technical challenges to be addressed (as outlined in the Project Concept).

    • 30%: Execution – This relates to the application itself, which will need to be demonstrated to the panel of judges. Is it easy to use and is it responsive? Does the application make effective and appropriate use of the WeChat Image Platform API?

    • 10%: Team’s Presentation & Demo – Teams are expected to give a presentation to highlight the Project Concept and Innovations involved. Did the presentation and demo clearly describe the above 3 criteria?

    • All scores and decision by the judges will be final
    • Absolutely no correspondence or communications related to this area will be entertained
