Visitors to Singapore must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months before the planned departure date to Singapore. Visa requirements are different according to each country*.

Participants who require for entry visa should complete their registration payment online first, before sending in their request for Letter of Invitation and/or Form V39A.

To make an online request for Letter of Invitation and/or Form V39A, please login your VISVA2014 account with your registration ID, which will be available after you have registered successfully. The documents will be sent to you by email in PDF format within 3 working days after receiving the request with sufficient information.

Participants can then use the document(s) to apply for the visitor (not business) entry visa from their nearest Singapore Embassy or Consulate Office.

Important Note:

• This request service will end on 20 November 2014 as it takes time for the document to be processed and for you to submit your application to the relevant agency. After this date, it may be too late for the documents to be prepared for you for application submission.

• Documents will only be issued to participants who have completed your registration payment.

• If printed copy is required, please send email to VISVA2014@ntu.edu.sg, specifying your address to receive the documents. Please note that Letter of Invitation will only be sent to participants who have registered and paid for the Conference. Should participants withdraw from the conference after the issue of Invitation letter; the Consulate will be notified of the withdrawal accordingly.

* You may consider purchasing an ez-link card from the train station in the airport. They will charge S$13 for this, 5 (card issuing fee) and 8 (stored value). If you do this, you can use this card to pay for your bus and train without needing to bother for tickets (as usual in most countries). Fares paid by ez-link card is lower than you paid by cash. Moreover, with ez-link card you will be able to get a discount when you transfer between MRT and Bus. When leaving Singapore, you may present your card at any Ticket Office for a refund of the stored value in the card (excluding card issuance fee).
