Workshop Venue
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) launched The Arc, a six-storey building with 56 smart classrooms today. The building has 13 project discussion rooms, a room for quiet reading, a 108-seat lecture theatre and workshops for engineering students. NTU's Singapore Centre for 3D Printing will have most of its facilities housed in this building, where research in smart technologies such as printable electronics, lightweight aircraft components and 3D-printed medical implants will be conducted.

Getting to NTU
BY BUS
Service 179 & 199
Both services depart from Boon Lay Bus Interchange (next to Boon Lay MRT Station) to the University. The services ply from 0600-2400 hrs on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 0630-0020hrs on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Service 179A
179A provides seasonal weekday short trips supplementing Service 179.
BY TRAIN
The nearest train stations to NTU are Boon Lay (EW27) and Pioneer (EW28) on the East-West Line operated by SMRT Corporation.
From Boon Lay station, make your way to the adjacent bus interchange. Services 179 & 199 will take you in to NTU.
From Pioneer station, hop on the Campus Rider which stops in front of Blk 649A, Jurong West Street 61, Singapore 641649.
If you are coming from Changi Airport and are travelling light, you can get on at Changi Airport (CG2), transfer at Tanah Merah (EW4) and take the train all the way to Boon Lay or Pioneer station. The journey takes just over an hour.

BY TAXI
From Changi Airport to Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Go to taxi stand according to the direction in the arrival hall. The ride takes approximately 40mins and the fare is about S$40-S$50, subject to midnight surcharge and peak hour surcharge

To enter Singapore, visitors must meet the following immigration requirements:
- Have minimum 6-month passport validity if you are not a Singapore passport holder
- Short term travellers holding a passport or travel document from a visa-required country/region must apply for a Visa
- All travellers must fill in the SGAC declaration up to 3 days before arrival
