NTU's main 200-ha garden campus - houses Singapore's largest on-campus residence infrastructure including 16 halls of residence for undergraduates and a graduate hall. NTU have about 50 Lecture Theatres and 175 Tutorials room within the main campus shared among difference Schools. Workshop Venue

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) launched The Arc, a six-storey building with 56 smart classrooms today. The building has 13 project discussion rooms, a room for quiet reading, a 108-seat lecture theatre and workshops for engineering students. NTU's Singapore Centre for 3D Printing will have most of its facilities housed in this building, where research in smart technologies such as printable electronics, lightweight aircraft components and 3D-printed medical implants will be conducted.

FIRST Way - Turn Left

Walk along the path till you reach a crossing

The at crossing – cross it and turn right

You will see a split road – Go right and walk straight

The ARC LT is on your right


SECOND Way  - Turn Right

Walk along the path till you see a staircase on your left

Climb right up the stairs – bring you to this AIA canopy. Walk straight.

Turn Left and walk straight ahead till you see-  Sch of Mech.

Turn left into the small pathway.
Take the stairs and go down a level.
The ARC LT is on your left.


Getting to NTU


Service 179 & 199

Both services depart from Boon Lay Bus Interchange (next to Boon Lay MRT Station) to the University. The services ply from 0600-2400 hrs on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 0630-0020hrs on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Service 179A

179A provides seasonal weekday short trips supplementing Service 179.



The nearest train stations to NTU are Boon Lay (EW27) and Pioneer (EW28) on the East-West Line operated by SMRT Corporation.

From Boon Lay station, make your way to the adjacent bus interchange. Services 179 & 199 will take you in to NTU.

From Pioneer station, hop on the Campus Rider which stops in front of Blk 649A, Jurong West Street 61, Singapore 641649.

If you are coming from Changi Airport and are travelling light, you can get on at Changi Airport (CG2), transfer at Tanah Merah (EW4) and take the train all the way to Boon Lay or Pioneer station. The journey takes just over an hour.

From Changi Airport to Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Go to taxi stand according to the direction in the arrival hall. The ride takes approximately 40mins and the fare is about S$40-S$50, subject to midnight surcharge and peak hour surcharge
